The SCIAMACHY Validation and Interpretation Group (SCIAVALIG) has organised a SCIAMACHY validation workshop from 6 to 8 December in Bremen. Included in this workshop was the final meeting of the German SCIAMACHY Validation Team (GSVT). The workshop was hosted by the ACCENT-TROPOSAT II project, and the local organisation was performed by the University of Bremen.

Objective

The main objective of this workshop was to establish the status of our knowledge of the quality of the currently available operational and non-operational SCIAMACHY products. A report of this workshop is expected to appear half January 2005.
