Data assimilation tools

Below you find links to a number of ozone column and ozone profile tools using GOME Assimilated Ozone data, produced within the framework of the GOME Fast Delivery Service and associated with the Sciamachy Validation.

HDF tools

The format for correlative data in NILU's NADIR data base is HDF 4.1r3. If you do not have your data in this format, you'll have to convert it.
An ASCII to HDF general purpose converter has been developed at NADIR (NILU's Atmospheric Database for Interactive Retrieval) and is in final beta test (Version 1 release in September). It is available from the NADIR Cal/Val pages

You can make your HDF conversion programme available via this web site, by sending an URL or the tool itself to the SCIAMACHY validation support office

Radiative transfer

SCIATRAN, the radiative transfer program made by Bremen, and used in the retrieval of operational SCIAMACHY nadir products, is available for scientific users.

Envisat user tools

This Envisat user tools website gives access to several on-line/downloadable tools which are used by the Envisat team for Mission Analysis and Ground Segment processing Development. Anyone can use these tools, either on-line (if applicable) or after downloading them.
NOTE: Some Tools require registration with the Envisat Team
